Top Ten Books
I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree This Year
Warning! This Top Ten Tuesday post has way more than ten books featured. I simply couldn’t narrow the list down any further. I already gouged my heart out by removing 15 or so. I might have a book hoarding problem.
All the Feels by Danika Stone is a fangirl’s dreamland. I can’t wait to read it! I think it’ll feel like I did when I read that Katy (from Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout) was a book blogger. It’s unlimited fun when you discover that a character is just like you!
Avatar: The Search Part 2 by Gene Luen Yang (and others) AVATAR!!!!! YESSS….. I haven’t read these yet. I got a signed copy of The Search Part 1 and I’m DYING to get my hands on Part 2!! I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO ZUKO’S MOTHER….. OK?! Ok. good.
A Drop Of Night by Stefan Bachmann is a thriller set in an underground palace in Paris. I don’t think I have to say anything more about it.
Liars, Inc. by Paula Stokes is essentially a story about a hustler whose life spirals out of control. I reallllly want to read this one.
Fairy Tail by Hiro Mashima. I love the crap out of the anime. But there’s like…. 50 + Volumes of manga. I really want to read it. Even if my ship isn’t canon…yet. #gajevy
Library Wars by Kiiro Yumi I read Vol 1 & 2 a long time ago. I loved it, what’s not to love about avenging librarians?
Lifer by Beck Nicholas. Sci-Fi/Romance. That’s really all it takes to make me interested. The cover is pretty too….
Nimona by Noelle Stevenson. This was probably one of the buzziest titles of 2015 and I still haven’t read it. I need to. Besides, the art is so cute!
Season of Glory by Lisa T Bergren. Sadly, this is the final installment in the Remnants trilogy. I really can’t wait to see Ronan and Dri’s happily ever after. (it better have a happily ever after…)
Sisters of Salt and Iron by Kady Cross. I loved Sisters of Blood and Spirit, so naturally I can’t wait to read its follow up.
Still Waters by Ash Parsons. A rough and tumble boy plots to run away from his abusive father. But only once he has enough money to take his sister with him. This book follows him as he realizes that he might be in over his head. Yay for have a tough boy protagonist! We don’t often get a legit ‘bad boy’ but I’m thinking this book is going to be one hell of a debut.
The Storyspinner by Becky Wallace. A girl who is probably a long lost princess is the target of an assassination plot. This one also likely features a love/hate relationship. I love those.
Ten by Gretchen McNeil. This book has been on my TBR for YEARS. I have no idea how I keep missing it. I really want to go back and read it… I used to know the cover designer and I do LOVE the cover. Especially the font. I’m a sucker for fonts.
Tunnel Vision by Susan Adrian. This one is about a teen with super powers who ends up teaming up with the government. Only to discover that the government aren’t necessarily the good guys. YES FOR MORALLY QUESTIONABLE ENTITIES!
Under a Painted Sky by Stacey Lee. This one is an old western story about two teens escaping their lives. Maybe falling in love with cowboys and the like on the way. YES. YA COWBOY STORY?!!!
We’ll Never Be Apart by Emiko Jean. Teen love turns to obsession in this YA Horror novel. Exciting…
Wild Ones by Kiyo Fujiwara. Love story about a mob-bosses daughter falling in love with her bodyguard. Awwww… I’ve read 1-5 and now I need #6
5 to 1 by Holly Bodger. This was one of my most anticipated reads, and I still haven’t read it. I thought I was going to a signing over the summer, but it ended up not happening.
the Cover is gorgeous and I’m really hoping for a culture rich novel.
Last Year’s Mistake by Gina Ciocca. Another friends turned romance! I keep thinking that Gina is actually Katy McGarry. I don’t know why. But I’m really thinking this one will be fabulous.
Undertow by Michael Buckley. Alien – Apocalypse. Geeeez. I actually had a netgalley version of this. But being a screw-up I forgot to download it before it was archived. 😛 It’s still one of my top anticipated 2015 novels though. Hopefully I will one day still get to read it.
The Shadow Prince by Stacey O’Neale. This one is actually free! It’s a novella before a series (Even though it says it’s number 1 in the series on goodreads.) Hopefully I’ll get to both ASAP.
