While most seventeen-year-old American girls would refuse to let their parents marry them off to a stranger, Robyn Mason dreams of the mysterious McKale in Ireland, wondering how he’ll look and imagining his cute Irish accent. Prearranged bindings are common for magical families like her own, however when she travels to the whimsical Emerald Isle she discovers there’s more to her betrothal and McKale’s clan than she was led to believe.
What starts as an obligatory pairing between Robyn and McKale morphs over time into something they both need. But one giant obstacle stands in the way of their budding romance: a seductive and deadly Fae princess accustomed to getting what she wants—and what she wants is McKale as her plaything. Love, desire, and jealousies collide as Robyn’s family and McKale’s clan must work together to outsmart the powerful Faeries and preserve the only hope left for their people.
I’m going to take a moment before the excerpt and giveaway to make a leprechaun joke.
I know! It’s a terrible joke….Corny jokes always get me laughing. Even dad jokes make me laugh.
Anyway, For this special giveaway hop, I’ve decided to giveaway See Me, because it is very Irish themed. Think luck of the irish but ….un-Disney-fied. It’s cute, romantic, and McKale is handsome and adorable and just. Ugh, makes me want to explode.
here’s an excerpt:
“Rock, you little jerk! Where are our clothes?”
“Aargh! You’re squeezing the life outta me bits and pieces!” he cried.
I did not loosen my hold.
“If you don’t tell me where my clothes are I’m going to crush your tiny bits and pieces.”
A sudden burst of magic caught me in the chest and violently forced my hands apart. I blinked, and found myself unsteady, sprawled on top of full-grown Rock, who lay back on the grass with his hands behind his head, giving me a lazy grin.
“What’s that ye were saying about tiny?” he asked.
